Learn the basics of wheel throwing as you create your own mugs in this 6-week course at Erie Clayspace!

Mud Market / Culminating Event @ ERIE ART MUSEUM on Saturday, April 18
Event time: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
The culminating event will be hosted at the Erie Art Museum during Access for All, creating a community-facing showcase and mini-vendor-style-market featuring ClaySpace and participating students of the class. Additionally, we are inviting the ceramics clubs and students around the greater Erie area to sell and share their work alongside the ClaySpace students.
Price
$360 for Erie Art Museum members, $400 for non-members. Members please use the code MUG during checkout for your discount.

Materials Required
The class fee includes clay, all glazing materials, firings, and additional practice hours in the studio.
About the Instructor - Bailey Clark
Bailey Clark is finishing her final semester at PennWest Edinboro, working toward a Bachelor of Science in Art Education with a minor in ceramics. Over the past few years, she has discovered a real love for clay and wheel throwing while pursuing her degree. She also recently completed an internship at the Erie Art Museum, where she explored Museum education and community-based art programming. She is passionate about learning, creating, and helping others find their own connection to art.
