Please join Artist Barbara Thomas Yerace Wednesday, December 14 from 5 - 9pm in the Holstein Gallery. Yerace will be presenting a talk highlighting the inspiration and passion in creating her Beaded Animal Stoles and bead work. Directly after the talk, each participant will have the opportunity to make a small beaded wearable pin using the same technique Yerace uses in creating her beaded art.
The talk and workshop are free to the public and funded by the National Endowment for the Arts granted to Erie Arts and Culture for the Northwestern PA Arts Recovery Grant. These grants have been awarded to individual artists and the broader arts and culture sector in its response to and recovery from the pandemic.
Yerace will be exhibiting this body of work: “The Spirit of Animals and other Beaded Works” at Glass Growers Gallery January 13 - March 3, 2023 - Opening Reception January 20.
