Summer 2025 - Introduction to the Foundations of Photography

Class Description

Led by professional photographer and artist, Erica Whiting, this three week class teaches participants to learn the basic foundational skills of photography; such as composition, shutter speed, depth of field, exposure and how to navigate camera settings. Each week they will make photos they have composed and created using techniques taught in this class.

$80 for members and $90 for non-members. Members use the code PHOTO for your discount!

This class meets on Saturdays, June 7th through 21st from 11 am – 12:30 pm.

Materials Required

Participants will need a digital camera (DSLR or point and shoot) to take photographs, a camera card, computer to view their images on, and photo viewing software. For further details on obtaining materials, feel free to reach out directly to the instructor at hello@ericawhitingphoto.com
