Introduction to the Art of Collage and Mixed Media

Class Description

This 4-week class explores the medium of collage and mixed media, covering its history, key artists, influential movements, and contemporary practices. Demonstrations and guided exercises will introduce compositional strategies and principles. The class will include lectures on collage history and technique, as well as hands-on studio time followed by class critique and feedback. Each participant will have the opportunity to create an original work (or two or three!). Materials are provided, but students are welcome to bring their own.

Price

This class is operating on a sliding scale. You may purchase the class at a rate you feel financially comfortable with, up to the maximum class cost of $120. All students will recieve the same instruction regardless of payment.

Use the checkout process as-is to pay the full $120 for the course.
