Introduction to Landscape Painting

Class Description

In this six-week landscape painting course, participants will delve into essential techniques for capturing nature scenes on canvas. Through a series of guided exercises and demonstrations, students will learn to simplify natural forms into basic shapes and tones, experiment with light, shadow, and color mixing, and build their own compositions. Each session progressively builds on previous skills learned; by course end, students will have developed confidence and foundational techniques to form cohesive landscape compositions.

Price

This class is operating on a sliding scale. You may purchase the class at a rate you feel financially comfortable with, up to the maximum class cost of $120. All students will recieve the same instruction regardless of payment.

Use the checkout process as-is to pay the full $120 for the course. To adjust the price during checkout, please enter the desired price in the promo code box in a multiple of 10, between $20 and $110. For example, to pay $60, enter 60 into the promo code box. This class will meet on Sundays starting Sunday, April 20th through June 1st from 12 pm – 2:30 pm with the exception of no class on May 25th.
