This 3-week generative workshop explores experimental flash fiction and its ability to accomplish the work of longer narratives in a compressed form, often existing at the intersection of fiction, poetry, and other art forms. Session one focuses on reading examples and generative writing. Session two centers on guided peer feedback. Session three emphasizes revision strategies and an overview of publishing opportunities for flash fiction. Participants will leave with a revised flash fiction piece of under 1,000 words.
