Opening Reception: Reflections - Sarah Jacobs

  • Erie Art Museum 20 East 5th Street Erie, PA, 16507 United States (map)

Sarah Jacobs is a contemporary artist whose work spans maximalist and surrealist traditions, expressed through both canvas and large-scale mural projects. She is represented by Fremin Gallery in New York City and Zynka Gallery in Pittsburgh. Her artistic practice has been shaped by international residencies across North and South America, as well as Europe.

Jacobs’ paintings employ a Baroque-inspired dramatic style: rich colors, bold lighting schemes, and symbolism. Her entangled compositions of patterns incorporate a range of media: oil, digital collages of past paintings, molding paste, assemblage, and gold leaf.

Connect with Sarah at the Museum during this opening reception of "Reflections."
