About the Instructor- Diandra Jones

Diandra Jones began her dance career in Erie with Rince Na Tiarna School of Irish Dance and toured professionally with Trinity Irish Dance Company throughout North America and Europe for five years. She taught and trained with world renowned cultural dance masters at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music, the largest folk collective in the US, for seven years before moving to Ghana, West Africa, then eventually the Virgin Islands, where she dedicated herself for ten years to studying Afro-Caribbean traditional and street dance. She now teaches dance in Honolulu, Hawai'i, but relishes her regular returns to her home in Erie, and any opportunity to share the joy of cultural dance with others.
