In honor of Mental Health Awareness Week, join the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Stairways Behavioral Health, the Mental Health Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania, and the Erie Art Museum in celebrating local Erie artists who identify with having a mental health challenge. Various art pieces will be displayed at the Museum and some available for purchase.

Brushstrokes of Resilience Opening Reception

The opening of Brushstrokes of Resilience took place Thursday, October 10th at 4pm and included a proclamation by Mayor Joe Schember and a presentation of two animated shorts about art and mental health by former Gannon professor Bill Doan. View Bill Doan’s shorts below on YouTube.
