Blues & Jazz Festival 2000
The
8th Annual Erie Art Museum Blues and Jazz Festival
Saturday and Sunday, August 5th and 6th at Frontier Park.
Preparations are underway for the Erie Art Museum Blues & Jazz Festival,
held every year at Frontier Park on the first weekend in August. This
is a free, two-day celebration of music with regional, national, and
international acts. The Erie Art Museum Blues and Jazz Festival offers
great blues and jazz music and other activities, such as hands-on activities
for kids, an arboretum tour of Frontier Park, and plenty of good eating
from local vendors. Plus, the festival always opens with a performance
just for children. Each year, this weekend event attracts thousands of
families and friends who come together to dance, eat, and enjoy music
in a beautiful park setting!
This music and cultural celebration is made possible through the time
and efforts of volunteers and the generous support of individual and
business sponsorships. Please consider becoming a volunteer or sponsor
for this wonderful and fun community event. Just call the Museum at 459-5477
or send us an email at contact@erieartmuseum.org.
