The planned $9 million capital project consists of a link between the Art Museum's Old Customs House Building on State Street and the Museum Annex, which fronts on both State and Fifth Streets. Included will be four major galleries, a number of smaller galleries, a 250-person performance space, a public meeting space at a new unified entrance, and other visitor amenities.

Our campaign has recently gone over the halfway mark, with more than $5.5 million pledged towards our $9 million goal. Our entire community has been partners in this effort. We have received significant pledges from individual donors, businesses, foundations, and local and state government, along with over $1 million from the Museum's Board. We are asking everyone in the community to support creating a new tourist destination and preserving a vital community resource.
