Sculptor, painter, and retired art teacher, Ron Bayuzick exhibited a selection of his works in various media. Perhaps best known for his inspiring abstract paintings and, earlier, his wood sculptures inspired by folk art, Bayuzick in recent years has concentrated on metal sculptures, which he refers to as "steel drawings." Bayuzick describes his process and inspiration: "Cut, grind, and redefine—honest scrap." The artist’s steel work is done mostly with scrap metals, creating forms evidencing his other love—building and restoring cars.

Bayuzick has exhibited throughout the area for 30 years. His work has shown at the Cleveland Art Museum, the Akron Art Institute and has been a staple of the Erie Art Museum Annual Spring Show, having been accepted by 14 different jurors. He also created the fish "Wang Chung Waterworld" which resided on the Museum’s front steps during the recent GoFish! public art exhibit
