Tom D. Lee is a native of Erie who began taking photographs as a child. He studied art as well as education at a variety of institutions in Pennsylvania and Tennessee, before receiving his master's degree in education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. His unique photographs range from portraits of the African-American male to street life in various countries to whimsical natural settings of Pennsylvania. His passion for art and education has taken him all over the globe including West Africa, Haiti, China, the Netherlands and France, as well as throughout the United States.
