Hooked: Fish works by David Seitzinger

December 11 - January 25, 2002

David Seitzinger, creator of the two fiberglass fish used in the GoFish! project, presented a survey of his work for the project as well as other "fishy" things, in the Frame Shop Gallery.

A graduate in industrial design from the Columbus College of Art and Design, Seitzinger was a toy designer for Marx Toys. He continues his design work in his own firm, the Aesthetic Factory, which created many of the displays for the expERIEnce Children’s Museum. A talented sculptor and draftsman, Seitzinger’s work has received first place in the Boston Mills show, and has been featured in the Paris Air Show, NPAA shows and many others nationally and abroad. Recently, Seitzinger was commissioned to create a groundhog fiberglass sculpture for a GoFish-like public art extravaganza in Punxatawny, Pennsylvania and surrounding communities.
