Kids As Curators - 2007
Students at Wayne gathered tin cans, wood, copper pipe, a retired shop vac and other household “junk” and crafted sound making objects as the centerpiece for their musical offering.
St. Boniface students expressed their newfound understanding of the brain in a variety of intriguing visuals using a huge collection of gift wrap and food labels; and they drew the viewer in with interactive activities.
The students at Walnut Creek artfully recreated Erie’s scenic bayfront complete with skyline, beach and sunset using old clothes and their own personal collections of money, books, jewelry and other objects.
The minds of kids are so different.
I was amazed to see stuff that I actually made in a museum.
It seemed like it would be boring, but you walk in and it’s like, “Wow!
Who made this? Not kids?”
