Kids As Curators - Erie Day School 2005

A mixed group of 7th and 8th grade students, under the auspices of their World Religion class created an installation called, "The Best of 12 Worlds". This included a backdrop of an amazing range of CD artwork, from children's music to jazz to indie rock. Hanging in front was what they called, "The Androgynous Form." This mannequin was dressed in a variety of clothes, both male and female, both rugged and formal. They wanted to express their comfort level, as individuals and as a group with a wide range of artistic taste and in a wide range of activities and pastimes.
